27th June 2019
Windsurfing: Felixstowe Dip
Wind Direction: NE
Wind Stength: F2 - F4
Surf / Sea State: Lumpy
Air Temperature: warm
Sea Temperature: warm
Weather: Sunny
Max Speed: 20.5 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 11.2 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Missed the action on Thursday which was a good 6.5m weather and reasonable sea, so didn't want to miss Friday. Unfortunately couldn't get there until 2pm when most was packing up and tide coming in quick, the wind eased! All were on big kit 8m+ for big guys, sea looked OK and the carpark was full.
Rigged 8.5M Goya Mark and 135 Bolt, but alas I didn't really fire up as the wind fluctuated between a F3/F4 so kept dropping off the plane. The tide was pushing downwind so all had to keep a tight reach to return to base. Swainey tried my Bolt, liked it, so he bought one!
Really I should have rigged 9.2 / 147L Ultrasonic. Switch boards and had another little nice ride but by 6 the wind was dropping badly. Others had a good day, and Chippie milked it till 7pm. Normally I dont like the dip at high tide but it was OK today. Not much mileage though.
All my boards now av all the Fstraps inwards for comfort, sacrificing some speed, but the extra comfort is definitely worth it, but had to shorten the harness lines.
